The Wise Man was the advisor to Lord Arthur. An expert in potion making and quite knowledgeable on the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, the Wise Man aided Ash Williams on his quest to return back to his home time of the late 20th century. The Wise Man first appeared in the 1993 film Army of Darkness, where he was portrayed by Ian Abercrombie.
