Linda was Ash's girlfriend. She went with Ash and three other friends to a Cabin in the mountains, where she eventually became possessed by a Kandarian Demon and became a Deadite. Ash was forced to decapitate her with a shovel when she attacked him outside the cabin. Almost 24 hours later, Linda returned to taunt Ash again when her headless body did a dance in the woods surrounding the cabin. Eventually, Ash had to kill her again, putting her head in a vice and cutting it with a Chainsaw. Linda first appeared in the 1981 film The Evil Dead, where she was portrayed by Betsy Baker.
