History
Showdown In Elk Grove
Following the arrival of The Dark Ones on Earth, Kandar was unleashed from the underworld to wreak havoc on humanity. The United States military fought Kandar with an army equipped with tanks and fighter jets, to no avail, inevitably retreating to call in a nuclear bomb strike in hopes of destroying the demon. El Brujo Especial, Pablo Simon Bolivar, was able to determine that all firepower directed to Kandar was only increasing its powers, and warned that the military's nuclear strike would only further increase its strength exponentially. Ash Williams (the Prophesied One) took control of an abandoned tank to combat Kandar. Placing the Kandarian Dagger in one of the tank's shells, Ash fired the dagger into Kandar's mouth, piercing it's jaw and directly hitting it's chest. Kandar's dying body collapsed on top of Ash's tank, though Williams himself was eventually pulled to safety.
Powers & Abilities
Alongside Kandarian Demon, Kandar the Destroyer is the greatest adversary Ash Williams ever faced.
- Limited Invincibility: Kandar seemed to be impervious to everything (explosives, bullets, ect.) except the Kandarian Dagger.
- Damage Empowerment: Kandar appeared to absorb all incoming damage from conventional weaponry to further increase its own strength.
- Fire Breath: During it's assault on Elk Grove, Kandar demonstrated the ability to breath fire.

Trivia
- According to Michael Asquith (a "creature designer" and concept artist on the third season of Ash Vs Evil Dead), Kandar's design was originally created for a generic female demon, but was later re-purposed with minor modifications to become the final on-screen version of Kandar.
