Evil Sheila was an evil clone of the Sheila of Earth-818793, much like what Evil Ash was to Ash Williams.

Evil Sheila first appeared in Army of Darkness Volume 1 #13 (The Death of Ash Part 2).

Biography[]

When the "good" Sheila of 1300 AD chose to be with Ash Williams in the 21st Century, it allowed her Deadite doppelganger to emerge into the world of the living. This "Evil Sheila" quickly assumed power over the residents of Castle Kandar, and turned it's three most prominent leaders (Lord Arthur, Henry The Red, and The Wise Man) into Deadites.

Over the course of the next several centuries, Evil Sheila and her undead aids began to prepare the world for the return of the Deadites. One of the steps in this preparation was the creation of the Weenieville restaurant chain, which secretly served the public miniature clones of Sheila that had been ground up and packaged as hot dogs. Once these hot dogs were consumed, the individual could be turned into a Deadite at a moments notice.

Evil Sheila eventually confronted Ash Williams when he and his companion Sugarbaby began investigating a surge of supernatural activity in a Weenieville restaurant. Ash was captured and crucified in a dungeon hidden inside the restaurant, his soul expelled from his body and sent into the afterlife, and was replaced with Evil Ash Prime.

Decades passed, and the Deadites took over the world while under Evil Ash leadership. While Evil Sheila had hoped that he would take her as his bride, he instead chose to spend time with "human whores", leading Sheila to start to resent him. When the real Ash Williams returned to his native world after escaping universes filled with zombie superheroes and werewolves, he eventually led a siege on Evil Ash's penthouse apartment, directly confronting the two Deadite doppelgangers. During the battle, the rift leading into the Mirror Dimension (the entrance point for Deadites to come into the world of the living) was closed, and the spirit of the "good" Sheila managed to completely take over the body of her evil clone. The spirit of Evil Sheila was presumably banished to the Mirror Dimension following the return of the real Sheila.

Notes[]

  • Evil Sheila, along with the miniature clones of herself, make brief cameos in Army of Darkness Volume 1 #12 before making her full appearance in the next issue.
  • Another evil clone of Sheila was introduced in the KISS/Army of Darkness crossover called Bad Sheila, though that version is not connected to this Earth-818793 incarnation.
