The Elk Lounge Bar (also known simply as "The Elk") was a bar and bistro located in the town of Elk Grove, Michigan. By 2016, it was the place of employment of Linda Emery and Chet Kaminski, and was frequently visited by Ash Williams and his cohorts.
The Elk Lounge Bar first appeared in the Ash vs Evil Dead Season Two episode Home.
History[]
The Elk Lounge Bar appeared to serve as the primary hang-out spot for the denizens of Elk Grove, with it's customer base ranging from the town's young adults all the way to it's senior citizens.
Upon learning that his beloved Oldsmobile and the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis had been stolen, Ash Williams hatched a plan to throw a party at the bar, hoping that the thieves (or someone who knew the whereabouts of them) would arrive to check it out. While the perpetrators of the theft did not make an appearance, a Deadite woman did, and almost killed Ash's father Brock in the bathroom. Ash intervened just in time, and saved his father from a grisly end.[1]
The bar would later be closed off as a crime scene after the party-goers saw the gore covering the bathroom, and it was here that Margie would be skinned alive by Baal.[2]
