Caroline Williams was the wife of Brock Williams and mother of Ash and Cheryl Williams.
Caroline has never physically appeared in any media, but was first alluded to in the Ash vs Evil Dead Season Two episode Last Call, with her name later being revealed in the Season Three episode Baby Proof.
Biography
There is very little information in regards to the life of Caroline Williams, except she separated from her husband Brock at some point during Ash and Cheryl's adolescence.[1]
What happened to her following her departure from the Williams family is unknown, though according to Brock Williams, she had died at some point before 2016.[1]
Trivia
Hidden among Ruby's intel gathered on Ash over the years is a marriage certificate, which lists his parents as Brock Williams and Caroline Williams (Baby Proof)
- Caroline's name was never spoken in the series, but appeared on Ash's marriage certificate seen among the various papers which had been acquired by Ruby in the episode Baby Proof.
- While unrelated to the live-action continuity, Ash's mother had previously been depicted in three comic books:
- In the 2006 one-shot Tales of Army of Darkness, his unnamed mother appears as a Deadite in the short story Necromomicon.
- The mother of the Ash of Earth-818793 was briefly seen in Army of Darkness (Volume 1) #12 when the young Ash is taking a photograph with a Deadite Santa at a shopping mall.
- In the 2014 comic Ash And The Army of Darkness #6, Ash's mother appears (though partially hidden in the shadows) in a flashback, where bears some resemblance to Linda.
