<p>I was reading up and I had this idea - what would a sequel to <i>Army of Darkness</i> following the post-apocalyptic ending be like? </p><p>
I'm guessing the storyline would follow a similar formula to AoD, with an interesting twist - now Ash is the one who is hopelessly outmatched against the people native to this time. </p>

<p>I submit to you that the two endings to <i>Army of Darkness</i> are not alternate from each other but are in fact continuous from each other. My theory is that the "Captain Supermarket" ending is set a while after the Apocalypse ending and inbetween the two Ash finds a way to get back to his own time (and possibly erase the memory of what happened during it, which isn't too far-fetched seeing as how he erased Cheryl, Scotty, Shelly, Annie and those three people he didn't really know who were with Annie from his memory) </p><p>So what happened between? </p>
